Meet Janet Rainey. Her light and brightness shines through and she is a joy to know. She is Mom to almost grown children and I met her at a TN Lady Jeeper event in Millington, TN. She is an amazing Lady and I can’t wait for you to meet her and her Jeep:

My Jeep’s name is Beautifully Broken. I wanted something that told the story of where I am at this point in my life and one that might open a door to tell my story to those whose may need to hear it and be helped by it. I had long felt like I was a picture of brokenness. Some of my brokenness was obvious to all that knew me. Other parts of my brokenness were deeply painful and hidden from EVERYONE. Hidden from everyone EXCEPT the one that could heal my broken heart, JESUS. He already knew all those things about me and loved me just the same. And He would heal my heart if I let him. I was finished running. It was then that I realized the beauty and strength that came from brokenness. “And a critical world judges her cracks while missing the beauty of how she’s been made whole again.” J.M. STORM .
What or who got you addicted to Jeeps? I have always wanted a Jeep. Who doesn’t want to drive a vehicle that is a ready made fun wagon?
How many Jeeps have you owned? This is my first jeep. I have only had it since July of this year. What model and Year? 2019 JLU
What mods were you most proud of and excited to get? I have been excited about every single one. So far I have replaced the plastic bumpers and side steps with steel ones and I have added a light bar. I will be adding a winch, rock lights and HikeIT (throttle controller) at Christmas. I really want new wheels but those will have to wait a little bit.
What do you like best about Jeeps and the Jeep Community? I call the Jeep Community “MY JEEPLE.” They are hands down the best people in the world. I tell everyone my jeep came with built in friends because the people I have met and come to call some of my closest friends have come from the Jeep Community.
What is your favorite jeep story? I don’t have one favorite story in particular. I have participated in as many jeep events as I could since I got my jeep and they all have been unique and amazing.
What is your favorite trails and why? I haven’t gotten to do very much off-roading so far but I have a bucket list a mile long. There are several wheeling trips planned for the upcoming year. Windrock in March 2022 and hopefully Moab, Utah in May 2022.
Do you have any jeep pets? I have 5 dogs. They have all gone through the interview process to become my primary jeep dog. LOL. They all take turns riding the backroads with me after work and on the weekends but none have gotten to go to any Jeep events yet.
Any favorite groups you want to give a shout out to? 45 South Offroad is my primary riding group. They say it is not just an offroad club, It is a family. I had heard others say this about this group before I joined but I now have first-hand knowledge of this to be true. They are now MY FAMILY. Lady Jeepers.com has also been an amazing source for education. Jeep Girls Connect has brought me together with two of the best pen pals/friends I could ask for.
