Meet Kristina Naelitz. She has been a delight to get to know. Kristina helped me research some murals to visit in Knoxville with Lady Jeepers and is a big hlep with Smokey Mountain Jeep Invasion meet and greets. Her Jeep has transformed every time I had the opportunity to see it. The graphics on her jeep are amazing and beautiful. Kristina’s joy and energy show through in her design. I love how everyone can bring their personality and creativity to their jeep. Your Jeep, your way.

My jeeps name is Calypso. I was with friends after Great Smokey Mountain Jeep Invasion last year and was asking for suggestions of something topical/beachy and we came up with the name while at dinner.

Is there anyone who inspired you to get into the jeep world?

I am just enjoying the life so I don't think I have one person to credit.

How many Jeeps do you or have you owned? What are the makes and models of your jeep(s)?

I had a 1987 Cherokee Laredo and the current Jeep Wrangler 2018 JKU

What is your favorite mod?

My favorite mod is my new gears which I had gotten after our Lady Jeepers event and my graphics.

What is your favorite thing about the jeep community?

Everybody is always willing to help out. On trail or in life

What are your favorite trails?

My favorite trails were the ones at Windrock. But there is also one going from the NC side of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park that goes down to the Catalooche to see the elk.

Do you have any jeep pets?

I have 2 jeep pets and one dog who does not seem to care for my jeep. My two English pointers (PRO Rescue) and one Anatolian Shepard (Blount County Animal Center).

Lilly (13), Stormy Violet (2), and Zeus (13). Lilly is having some health issues at the moment, she had a biopsy done a few weeks back and has lymphoma. It is hard because I lost my Willow to cancer 2 years ago and to face that this close is going to be ruff. Stormy is a spoiled brat and has Zeus wrapped around her paw. He puts up with a lot from that girl. (Kristina needs some love today with Lilly. It is so hard to come to the end of the life of our beloved fur children. Please show her that we care about all fur children.)

Favorite group to shout out to would be my Lady Jeepers friends and Seven Slot Outcast.

Anything else you would like to share with us?

I am originally from Cleveland, OH. My boyfriend had gotten a job on Walt Disney Worlds Animal Kingdom Opening Crew and we had gotten married and moved to Florida together. We stayed there for several years and then moved up to Tennessee 2003. Have been here ever since. My favorite place is the beach. When we retire we are going coastal. I love to be with family, friends and my critters. I am defiantly a dog mom. My most visited beach would be Myrtle Beach. My family started vacationing there in 1977. We were just there for Jeep Jam and did get to participate in the beach crawl. We are going to Jeep Beach in Daytona next year. Looking forward to that too.

I am extremely grateful for the ones in my life who have taught me how to grow, stretch my comfort zone, laugh, and give me support.
